A quartz sand enterprise specializes in deep processing of quartz sand. In 2023, it encountered a development bottleneck: when using traditional suspended iron removers to process raw materials, although the processing capacity reached 50 tons per hour, the iron impurity removal rate was only 70%, and the iron content of products was stably at 0.3%, which was much higher than the Grade A standard (≤0.1%) required by photovoltaic glass enterprises. This led to the backlog of more than 3,000 tons of products, resulting in a direct economic loss of about 2 million yuan. To break through the quality bottleneck, the enterprise introduced the RCYB series permanent magnet automatic iron discharging remover in March 2024.

With its high-gradient magnetic field design and multi-stage iron removal structure, the new equipment increased the iron impurity removal rate to 95%, and the iron content of products stably dropped to 0.08%, successfully passing the supplier qualification review of a leading photovoltaic glass enterprise. At the same time, the processing capacity of the equipment increased to 80 tons per hour, an increase of 60% compared with the previous, greatly improving the single-shift production efficiency. In the first half of 2024, the order volume of photovoltaic-grade quartz sand of the enterprise increased by 30% year-on-year, and the profit per ton increased by 200 yuan compared with ordinary products, with a cumulative new income of about 1.5 million yuan. The enterprise's person in charge said that after the equipment was put into use, the customer complaint rate dropped from 12% to 0, and the repurchase rate increased to 85%, completely reversing the situation of product unsaleability.
